Manager, Corporate Safety

Roles & Responsibilities

- Act as custodian of the Viva Macau Safety Management System, Aviation Security Programme and Emergency Response Plan. Primary responsibility is to provide safety and security advice to the Chief Executive Officer, DFO and other Directors.

- Maintain and develop company safety, security and emergency planning systems, including the flight safety programme.

- Champion safety initiatives and facilitate the timely and free flow of information.

- Manage the safety reporting system.

- Co-ordinate AACM (Macau CAA) Mandatory Occurrence Report) requirements.

- Manage the Flight Data Analysis Programme (FDAP).

- Develop safety awareness programmes.

- Conduct safety inspections and incident investigations.

- Develop, review and periodically evaluate the adequacy of the Companyกฆs Emergency Response Manual and incident readiness.

- Convene and chair the Safety & Security Review Committee.

- Publish periodic safety and security information.

- Assess security threats and develop appropriate countermeasures.

- Investigate criminal activity and malpractice and act as the airline\'s point of contact on security and criminal issues with Regulators, Police and Security Authorities.

Macau permanent residents are preferred but other applicants willing to work in Macau will also be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

- Excellent written and spoken English, computer literacy and analytical skills.

- Broad aviation technical knowledge.

- Qualifications and experience in aircraft accident investigation.

- Qualifications and experience in airline operations quality auditing.

- Sound knowledge of commercial airline operations, in particular flight operations procedures and activities.

- Sound knowledge of aviation regulatory framework.

- Has managed and implemented safety management systems.

- Strong presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the Company.
