The Online Experience Data Analyst will find, model, and communicate the information that provides the best opportunities for continuously optimizing the Online Experience. This position will be one of high influence.

This person’s work will directly drive decision making at high levels in multiple departments across Rosetta Stone.

A strong predictor of success for the Online Experience Data Analyst is the ability to rapidly dive into multiple data sources to answer questions and test hypotheses posed by key stakeholders across top levels of the organization (including CEO, COO). This person will quickly transform raw data into clear communication tools that are actionable by product design and delivery teams.

He/she will clearly communicate with stakeholders to understand what they really want out of the data and help product teams on understanding and designing data models.

Key Accountabilities:
Map all OE related data sources and their relationships within first 10 days.
Provide afternoon responses to morning questions during initial testing and rollout of service.
Refine “Dashboard\" reports as new metrics are chosen.
Report on the effect of ongoing changes and site development.


Experience/Education:
Experience with the operation of user participation enabled web sites
Knowledge and strong understanding of SQL, Excel
Web Analytics
Proven ability to interact with technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders
Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication skills
BS/BA in Computer Science, Management, or a related field (or equivalent)
2+ Years Experience
