Pricing Strategist Job Openings at Perrigo
Job Description:
This position, reporting to the Director of OTC Marketing, oversees the planning and development of the company\'s pricing strategies and tactics through research, analysis, and presentation of the industry and competitive landscape. Compiles, analyzes, and make decisions from internal and external information sources including the direct sales force and channel partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Understand the competitive landscape including pricing to capitalize on margin enhancement opportunities. Highlight key differences to management by way of recommending decreases or increases in price levels for more competitive effectiveness.
-Gathers and maintains Competitive Intelligence particularly as it relates to pricing or market share opportunities.
-Develops and monitors metrics to measure the effectiveness of pricing policy and implements changes as necessary.
-Provides business decision information and leads strategic pricing discussions regarding individual customers pricing solutions with sales and marketing leaders.
-The identification of products/segments where opportunity exists to enhance/maximize gross margins and develop strategies to accomplish those opportunities.
-Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Finance to develop, refine and implement initiatives to grow Perrigo margins.
-Work closely with Pricing Administration to ensure the execution of pricing initiatives.
-Will be involved in providing the pricing team in effective pricing solutions to complex customer deals.
-Must remain aware of regulatory responsibilities and remain current in technical areas, including Sarbanes-Oxley required.

-BA in Marketing, Finance, or General Management.
-Expert level Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
-Strong financial knowledge including the dynamics of product mix, pricing, volume (overhead absorption) and their impacts on gross margin.
-Working knowledge of Consumer Products business.
-Sound working knowledge of all aspects of product management is required, including analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
-Ability to lead through influence.
-Ability to manage multiple complex, cross-functional projects.
-Ability to present clear written and verbal concepts to peers and executives.
-Ability to provide related guidance to category managers, sales and partners through analysis.
-Demonstrated business acumen decision making and leadership direction regarding business opportunities to positively impact revenue growth and profitability.
-Good strategic thinker able to gain a quick understanding of Perrigo\'s product line and business.
