Design and implement customer software solutions and handle support calls on software systems including, but not limited to OnBase, Datacap, AnyDoc, Kofax and Captovation using Visual Basic and Java.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs:
• Develop software solutions for customers based on business need and industry.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and solving software issues with our customers and resellers over the phone, internet, and by on-site visits to maintain and improve current solutions.
• Regularly contact support customers after resolution to ensure complete satisfaction and uncover new sales opportunities.
• Travel to customer sites where installs are required. Engineer will be responsible for making all travel arrangements and keeping costs within acceptable limits and in accordance with company policy regarding expenses.
• Test install systems in-house before they are deployed or upgraded at the customer site including the base system and all modules making sure that it is tested against other software that is installed at the customer site for compatibility.
• Assist in maintaining internal network systems and software.

Qualifications and Requirements Desired:
• Proficient in Visual Basic and Java programming languages.
• Excellent written, listening, and communication skills including interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Strong software development and information technology knowledge base.
• Professional appearance.
• Strong analysis and judgment skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Reliable, personal transportation.
• Intra-city/state travel required on a daily basis and long distance travel as required.
• Strong telephone presence and questioning skills.

Education, Training, and Experience Desired:
• 4 year degree in Information Technology or similar experience.
• Microsoft certification is a plus.
• Pursue and successfully complete CIDA+, MCP, and other vendor certifications as needed and within expected timeframes.
