Vice President of Finance Job Openings at Experian Marketing Services
Job Description:

As VP, Finance - Marketing Services at our NYC location you will be a key member of the company’s leadership team and act as a partner with the key organization leadership from both a tactical and strategic perspective, promoting high performance, driving accountability, enhancing quality, and designing processes and metrics that create visibility into business performance and enable the organization to meet its objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Manage, build and develop a high-functioning finance and accounting organization, establish and constantly improve business processes and procedures in support of the strategic direction for a multi-product organization. A proactive approach to establishing metrics, forecasting performance and overall business visibility to the various product lines is a key component of this role.
* Plan, organize, and provide for the timely and accurate development of performance reporting, budgets and forecasts to all levels of management.
* Manage the function that acts as the analytical engine of the company to help support optimal business decision making and resource allocation.
* Oversee all aspects of financial operations for the company supporting analysis and reporting for existing and future products.
* Establish financial reporting practices, such as revenue recognition and expense capitalization.
* Partner with the management team to develop and execute a strategic plan for the business.
* Find, retain and develop finance talent to create a finance organization in alignment with the objectives of the business.
* Plan and support broad financial analysis assignments, including investment cases, product profitability, pricing analysis.
* Oversee management of the development, preparation, and presentation of both short and long-range financial budgets and forecasts.
* Lead finance staff and business unit management to standardize and improve performance measures and analytical methods, to ensure integrity of information and to ensure the use of performance measures that are meaningful to senior management.
* Perform detailed financial analysis of balance sheet and income statements to understand drivers of past and future performance, risks and opportunities.
* Develop strong relationships with executives and others within and outside the finance department, and maintain open flow of communication, thus enabling deep knowledge of current events in the business.
* Manage a shared service revenue services function (accounts receivable, billing, collections) for the Marketing Services Group.
* Report directly to the President of the Experian Marketing Services Group and will have a strong functional reporting relationship to the SVP, Finance of the Experian Marketing Services Group.
* Manage a staff of 50, comprising planning, analysis, reporting, accounts receivable, billing and collections.

Job Skill:
Qualifications
* Minimum of 15 years of progressive management and leadership experience in Finance.
* Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or business is required as is either a CPA or MBA.
* Considerable knowledge of accounting and finance theory and practices with the ability to perform complex financial analyses.
* Progressive experience in financial analysis, management reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, pricing and project management.
* Experience in supporting multiple businesses/product lines with varying revenue models and growth trajectories.
* Ideal candidate has worked with companies in transition and is comfortable with fast change, quick decisions and uncertainty.
* Proven ability to assist in the development of financial systems to define performance benchmarks, reduce costs and improve financial performance.
* Ability to read and interpret financial statements, systematically appraise and verify the accuracy of accounting/financial records and interpret the data in order to draw sound conclusions.
* Proven management and organizational skills working in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
* Experience in cost management and cost reduction.
* Experience in vetting the financial aspects of new products, programs and services to an organization.
* A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
* An ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
* Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
