Small & Medium Business Direct Response Marketing Senior Manager Job Openings at Dell Inc
Job Description:
Customer business manager is responsible for planning and executing Dell\'s direct response marketing for a customer segment in the Small and Medium Business segment in the Americas. Will own the test roadmap and control P&L in a high profile, high pace position requiring command presence, influence and top notch quantitative / qualitative analytical skills.
This individual will be responsible for the management and execution of the segmentation and selection of our customer database and external prospect lists as well as preparation of P&L forecasts for each campaign.
Additional responsibilities include contact strategy, testing roadmap, writing campaign creative briefs, analysis and reporting on campaign performance, monthly forecast updates and reporting across all channels.
Major metrics are: annual targets including demand, cost per customer thresholds, and retention and reactivation goals, and product penetration goals.
• Develop and manage all direct marketing sales and expense plans including optimization of spending by channel (web, call center, channel).
• Develop segmentation and promotional strategies for all catalogs, direct mail, email, and outbound calling programs in concert with analytics team recommendations
Manage daily execution of marketing process:
• Determine optimal circulation for each targeted project
• Determine optimal prospecting levels
• Manage a testing process that incorporates both product, creative, offer, and audience testing
• Assist in developing ongoing budgets for all direct marketing including monthly forecasts and budget updates
• Coordinate with Production team to ensure deadlines for printing and production are met
• Coordinate with Creative team to test various offers to key segments

Required Experience
• BA/BS in mathematics, statistics, economics or other quantitative discipline; MBA or other Advanced Degree desired
• 8-10 years experience in database driven direct marketing with proven experience managing multi-channel direct marketing contact strategies
• At least 3 years B-to-B direct marketing experience
• Ability to develop and execute contact, offer, and channel strategies
• Ability to develop and execute annual, quarterly, and campaign level plans
• Ability to partner with internal and external groups to execute campaigns, and produce results in all areas of responsibility
